Welcome to Conference Services
The University of Connecticut opens its beautiful Storrs campus and provides year-round conference services and facilities for a variety conferences and meetings hosted by both internal and external organizations.
Meeting participants will enjoy the peaceful beauty of our rolling-hills campus setting with all the advantages of New England's top ranked public university. The Storrs campus is located in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut nearby the metropolitan areas of Hartford, Boston, Springfield, Providence, and New York City.
Organizations of different types will receive customized service to ensure a successful conference event. The Conference Services Office supports University departments, students, and external organizations interested in hosting conferences on the Storrs campus.
Our services include all aspects of planning and on-site management of conference programs to include meeting planning services, registration services, marketing support, financial management, procurement, hospitality services, transportation and parking, audiovisual support, other program logistics as needed.
Thanks to an unprecedented $2.3 billion investment in the renewal, rebuilding and enhancement of its facilities, UConn boasts some of the finest meeting space in the
country. A newly renovated student center, high tech air-conditioned classrooms, the 700-seat Rome Ballroom, auditoriums of various sizes, and the 10,000 seat Gampel Pavilion are just a few of the premium meeting spaces available to conference groups.
Our hospitality team will attend to every detail to ensure that each guest has a memorable experience. Accommodation options include a full-service, on-campus hotel and suite-style air-conditioned residence halls. Meals and refreshments are provided in our modern dining facilities, or served by our award winning catering department.
